The exhaust pipe (near the can) on the 92 lude I just bought is starting to rust through. There is a 1/4" line about a foot in length. Just wondering, if I use that exhaust tape **** (temporarily), will it pass a state inspection (NC if that makes a difference)? Just curious.

that could work. they also have this jb weld stuff you can get, its like a putty i think another name for it is quick steel. its a grey and black putty you mix together and put it over exhaust leaks and then let the car run for a bit to heat it up and it hardens to your exhaust. if i remember correctly its about 4-5 bucks

 

might work but dont be a coon. be smart and fix it for good so u dont have to worry about being ghetto.
