I've been told that Ishino makes Honda's OEM gaskets. However I have seen no proof of this. So, if anybody has used these *especially head gaskets* please throw your 2 cents......I wanna find out if they are good OEM Honda **** or some generic knock-off lacking Honda quality.............

it is the way to go and if it is a odd size then go with Cometic

 

If you do a Google search for Honda OEM parts, 90% of the places you look at, sell this company's gaskets as OEM....I called one, and was told Ishino (a japanese company) makes all of Honda's OEM gaskets....I guess a similar situation to ENKEI making their stock rims.......I'm just trying to find wether or not this is true.........These go for about HALF of what the same thing they cost from the dealership!

Yes Ishino is a Janpese company that makes the gaskets for Honda....and the same oem Honda gasket kits for a company called Stone.

 

wtf is dat go oem.to test bump your compression check for white smoke.

 

Ishino makes gaskets usually labeled as "Stone", they are based in Japan and I know they make "some" Honda gaskets at least, but all, I'm not so sure about that. It'd be interesting to see if anyone else knows anything more here...

HONDA doesn't really make any of their seals/gaskets (with the exception of a few), rather they contract out the Japanese manufacturers such as NOK, ARAI, Stone, Ishino, etc. to manufacture them. So any of those manufacturers ARE the OEM seals.
