Default What would be an ideal Clutch and Flywheel setup for 185-200hp?

I have a 1996 b18c1 planning to put out about 185-200whp. What would be a good/daily driveable clutch and flywheel setup? Thanks for your input H-T!

Pro-light 9lb. flywheel.
ACT Puck-six stage2 or stage3 clutch, either one is suitbale for 185-200hp.

Check out action clutches. You dont need a crazy stage 75 or whatever to put the power down. Go with one that holds the power and is easy to drive. An ACT street lite 12lb would be a good flywheel choice.

I run clutch master light weight aluminum flywheel and stage 4 clutch. This is a great clutch and company. They are always very informative and are willing to help out. I haven't really had any major issues with them.

Search this back a couple of months, there were several threads debating the best clutch for sveral similar setups...Exedy, CM, ACT, and Action were among the most popular..........

glad someone else is smart enough to realize that you don't need a full race clutch for a gsr with bolt ons.

See if you can talk to some people with aftermarket clutches and ask them to try them out or something. Find something you like.

for 185/200whp My set-up is wonderfull, my opinion its the Exedy organic clutch with a spoon flywheel. No stiff pedal feel and has lasted me for 2 yrs now, daily driven and weekend road race and it's still going with no slippage.

thanks for the input so far everyone! I might just go with a ACT six puck...what would be better for a daily driver...prolite or streetlite? I'm still debating on whether or not I want a lightweight flywheel...

also, do aftermarket flywheels last pretty long? I dont want to have to replace the flywheel down the road anytime soon...

why a 12#? I noticed wicked industries which lots of people seem to like is 8.5, and a good price...so why not that?

I've been using the stock OEM ITR clutch for almost 1 year or a bit longer. I hate stiffy pedal feel for a daily driven car!!!

Get an action 1ks! The clutch is awesome! Definately streetable, and it is more durable than some of the other clutch brands out there. I have driven in cars which had clutch masters, and exedy clutches, and my friends and I prefer my clutch so much more.

Action 1 KS

Competition clutch has a decently priced clutch and flywheels set-up and are up to PAR!

I use Competition Clutchs on on my cars and so do my fellow co-workers.

Good Luck
