Default H22A N/A engine building

Sup everyone, im new to this forum and wanted to say hi n ask for your experties. After a long time of debating weather to go turbo/super/na i've decided to build my engine N/A style.. even tho it cost more i think n/a is sexy...

I have a 1999 Honda Prelude w/ the standard mods: AEM I/ DC stainless H/ E

I also have parts that are waiting to be installed:

Skunk2 Stage 2 Camshaft
Skunk2 Camgears
Skunk2 Intake/Exhaust Valve
Skunk2 Springs and Retainers
Exedy Stage2 Full face race clutch

My questions are as follows...

1) do i need to get my car tuned or can i run it w/ these parts installed untuned w/o killing my engine...?

1a) if i need it tuned.. do i need to get hondata or vafc? if so which one is sufficient enuf for my car w/o spending a crap load of money

2) lastly, do i need bigger fuel injectors with these mods?

thanks alot

-jeff

With my Crower Stage 2's making 209 whp tuned with a V-AFC I didn't have to add more than 5% fuel at any point. I think it ranged from -5% up to 5% from 4000-8000 rpm. Mainly around the VTEC crossover it would get lean, so I had to add fuel.

Did I read the site wrong or doesn't Skunk2 say not to use their valves when you go Stage2+?

Skunk2's website - "Oversized valves should not be used with standard size valve seats or with Stage II and III VTEC camshafts."

So as long as they are the STD size valves, he's ok.

What is the stroke length of the H22?

Isn't the H23 95mm?

I've seen a few dyno graphs and many don't go far past 8000rpm.

ive heard that skunk valves bend easily, and i was told by my mechanic to stick with oem valves and just replace the valve seals when getting all the valvetrain and cams put in, but again, thats just what ive HEARD.

H22 is 90.7mm. Most people don't go past that because their cams don't make power past that or they are either scared of the piston speeds. I plan on making power to 9000 with my new setup.
