if u just broke the handle..then dont u just need to replace the handle...u could take a pix of what it looks like..that would help..how did u break it????
umm ive never done it on an ek, but if you need to replace the regulator you probably need to:
1) take off the black triangle part at the base of the window and top of the door.
2) take out the screws (guessing- one behind the door lever and probably one in the door handle (the part you pull when you close the door))
3) you probably have to take out the speaker, pull the cover off and unscrew
4) take off the door lever (you have to take off the rods connected. Spin the cover off and lift the rod out of the clip thing)
5) Take our the door handle.
6) by now all you should have to do is pull on the door pannel itselg. Start at the bottom and pull out. Then slide up to get it over the lip at the top of the door.
Now get someone to help you or be very careful.
7) Your going to have to have the window at a height where you can get to the two bolts on the regulator that hold the window in. My guess is have the window about half way up. I believe they will be 10mm
8) Lift the window up and out of the door. It is going to have to come out towards the outside of the car. Put the glass somewhere safe
9) Find the bolts to the regulator, unbolt, and pull it out. Will probably also be 10mm
Hope this helps. Its really not that hard at all, just takes a little bit of time the first time you do it.

it should be two bolts. On the glass itself, there are some kind of plastic flaps or something (i dont know how to describe it) that are glued to the glass where the bolts hold it in the the regulator.
