type-r's in wisconsin in need your help

I need a VIN # from a 2000 type-r in order for honda to take a part back under warranty. Please pm me if you could help and we can talk. Thanks.....

So you don't have a 2000 ITR but you want them to provide warranty coverage by pretending that you do?

Sounds shady to me...

Since all the vins are diffferent make one yourselft

And they might catch you trying to pass a fake vin and think that you have a stolen car.

Check Ebay, but using someone elses VIN I would assume is illegal.

No doubt. Parts warranties should have nothing to do with a VIN number.

Where'd you get the part from? Which dealer? I talked to one of my guys at a Honda dealer and he said it wouldn't be a problem.

Asking for a VIN number isn't exactly the BEST thing to do on Honda-tech..

Trying to return an oil pump to Zimbrick Acura and they said they needed a VIN to process the return.
NVIUOS R Should I try to just take it back then without one? Or would your friend be willing to help me out with it? Thanks for the replies guys, and yeah.....I didnt know how well asking for a vin would go. But thanks.....
