I need help quick. I found B18A1 swap for my civic, for a steal, will it fit?
I found a whole 1990 acura integra for $300. It has a B18A1. I need to know if it will work in my 1992 civic vx hatch. If I buy the car I will have the motor rebuilt before i do the swap. Please help asap...........

you will need to change the trans . 1990 is cable yours is hydro. hydro trans can be alittle costly.

**** for 300 bucks it is a steal. Non VTEC huh yeah you better not buy it, it cant be fast if it doesnt have VTEC

Im not saying it wouldn't be fast. But if im gonna have to rebuild the whole motor and find a hydro trans. Then maybe I should keep looking for a motor with vtec, seeing as how my car already has vtec in the wireing harness

Your right hot shot it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. But between my EG, my bike, my work truck, and my girls car... and a one car garage, I kinda don't have the room. So why don't you ask your parents if you can put the thing in their driveway then get back to me.....***
