i didnt notice any difference in light output when i put blacked out headlihgts out on my car. i guess since the lense is not affected the light output stays the same

just the housing is blacked out. light output is fine. on my legend the housing is also blacked out, and he light output is the same as before. its just the bezel tahts blacked out not the lense
If all the chrome reflector is blacked out you wont be able to see anything...My friend made the mistake of doing that...Ask him about it...His screenname is hatch93back on here.
Like i said...if the whole reflector is painted you wont see anything...On the legend only part of it is painted leaving the reflector chrome in the middle for light to reflect...The eg ones you have in the auction are fully painted.
