hey guys, as the topic says, my front right shock is queaking a lot... and its most when im breaking, but that could be just because i dont hear it any other time... i got to work and turned off the car and went to investigate. when i push down the front right end of my car it squeaks a lot.. do i need a new shock? and if i change one i must have to change both right?

 

check your balljoints first. Make sure it isn't one of them. I had my uppers go and at first I thought it was the shock too.

 

but wouldnt the ball joints be near the wheels of the car? the squeaking is coming from the top of the shock i think
