Default 98 Prelude - timing belt interval

Just took my car in for a 90k service - expecting them to do the timing belt and water pump. They said Honda doesn't suggest doing this until 105,000 miles! I'm a little freaked out about it. Anyone have experience loosing their belts on a 98+ Prelude?
