Default clutch pedal problems

yesturday i jumped in my lude and was going for a drive when i noticed that the pedal was really stiff and as soon as i let off the pedal a little bit it would grab, but later on i was driving the the rain and i accidently let off the clutch too fast and the car jerked for a second and after that the pedal was soft like before. do i need a new clutch or could the slave cylinder be going on it ?

i wouldn't worry about it unless the problem comes back.
make sure you have plenty of fluid. if it starts happening again,
bleed the clutch system and go from there.

the fluid is a little low but not much, and the night before i pulled up to park and left the car in gear and released the clutch ,the car jerked and died out .could that of done something ? and after the car wouldnt turn on so i poped the hood and banged the starter with the club and it work like a charm.
