I have a 96 accord lx and sometimes when i come up to a light & take the gear out my car idles really low, below 500 rpm's. It only does this sometimes, at other times it stays normal aroun 800 or so rpm's, anyone know why this could be?

 

Mine does this, 95 EX Auto, when the AC compressor cycles on.

 

Maybe you both need to check whether your IAC valves are working. Then set your base idle properly.
