Default HELP, did a mini me swap now car idles wrong, and wont go over 5000 rpms

Well i did a mini me swap on my d16, i have a y8 head, mani, and a b16 tb on it. Everything is rebuilt, and all new gaskets. Well when the tps is plugged in after like 5 minutes of driving it idles from 2000 rpms to 800 rpm, back and forth, it wont just idle at one rpm unless i unplug the tps. The tps is reading the right voltages at open throttle an closed so thats not the probelm. So i was wondering if anyone knew where i should check next? Also when my car hits 5000 rpms it just boggs down and wont go over that rpm, also when the vtec kicks in it does the same thing boggs down, and wont go any higher. Like i said it wont go over 5000 no matter what i do, and if i set the vtec to like say 4000 then it wont go over 4000. So i have the vtec set at 6000 so it wont kick in and even with the vtec not kickin it still wont go over 5000. Any ideas? if anyone can supply any info on this that would be great, thanks. this sucks my car ran better with the old shot smokin stock d16, lol.

Check your IACV, its on the back of your throttle body and has 2 coolant hoses plugged into it. Remove it and spray it down with carb cleaner and let it dry and see if that fixes it, if not you may need to replace it.

also ont he minime you did remove the oil control thingy in the d16 block correct?

the iacv is a newer one but i will try the carb cleaner on it and see if that works, and the oil thing was removed from the block, and my timing is where it is supposed to be so im stumped, if i cant get it i might have to take it to the speed shop. Well thanks for the info.
