OT: Got the lift installed..
Posted awhile back when i got it, well, we got it all finished over the weekend.. And as luck would have it, we got to test it out last night with my mom's BMW that needed an oil change and is throwing a CEL code.. I put the porsche up on it tonight, tomorrow the lude.. Next week(when I get it back), the R..
here's pics from last night:
that last one is a pic of the custom mounted kill switch and electrical outlets we added.. we also mounted boxes at the top of each side for flourescent drop lights which should be here in a day or two.. all installtion of the lift and every electrical socket, light, switch, etc. done by me and my dad.. next week we'll start laying down the epoxy shop floor coating..
just thought I'd share..

Be safe under that thing!
P.S. This is now twice you're posting pics of the lift without an R. As the saying goes, 3 strikes and you're out, so next time we better see an ARR on there oR else lights out bucko!

All you need now is a Refridge and a case of beer in that Barn.

You use a hammer drill to drill the holes into the concrete(must be at least 4" thick), then place these screw things with flanges sticking out into the hole.. the top is threaded, to which you put a nut on to hold the lift down and torque it to 170 ft lbs.. and there's 6 of those per side.. that was the hardest part of the whole install for sure..

I think it was like $2300 for the lift, plus $200 freight shipping from California.. took about a week and a half to get here after ordering.. Tractor trailer backed up to the barn to drop it off then we pulled it out of the trailer with the john deere tractor..
Thanks everybody.. i'm pretty pumped to have it.. and no Josh, I will NOT miss rolling around on the ground..
