Default Oil pump pics... 1500 miles spun rod bearing

I had purchased this oil pump from the Honda dealership when the motor was assembled. It is a B16 stroked to around a 2.0L. I had driven the car for about 1500 miles and it spun a rod bearing. I have had everything fixed with the block and I am reassembling it now. I was going to use the oil pump from before but I opened it op first to check it out and this is what I found. Are the marks normal? It doesnt seem to me like there should be any marks from wear, but I have never had any issues with this before. I already bought a new one but I am just curious if anyone has had a similar problem or what could have caused this so it doesnt happen again. Thanks

it happens to pumps sometimes but best to replace. Heavy clutch can sometimes cause that to happen.

No. I can barely feel them with my finger.

Is the pump a b16 or b18 one?? I wouldn't even know if their is a difference, but maybe that's the cause of the problem?

Please correct me if im wrong.
