Im not getting spark..why?? what are all the reasons i may not be getting spark?? I have a stock b16. I already checked the coil and ignitor. what else could it be?

 

How did you test/determine that you are not getting spark?

 

Fuses, grounds, wiring, or ECU. A busted timing belt would also do it. If you are checking for spark at the end of the spark plug wires, you might also have a bad distributor cap or ignition rotor.

 

ok grounds are ok cap and rotor are ok and so is timing belt. I tested the to see if i got spark by taking out a plug and putting it on a ground and see if it sparked but no spark

 

If you can get your hands on a good distributor, swap yours out. Then you know if the problem is in the distributor, or in the electrical system of the vehicle.

 

ok well it didnt stop getting spark until i took the car to best buy to get a radio and some speakers installed

 

Sounds like they may have popped a fuse. Check all of your underhood fuses and the under dash fuses. Particularly the ECU fuse.

is it makin any kind of sounds? i remember when i did my swap somehow my ignition relay busted and my car didnt do ****

 

it just sounds regular like when ever you start a car but it just doesnt start

so they drove the car in but they had to push it out and u dint do anything ?

did u check all the fuses under ur dash
how is ur coil did u take it out and check, couse the last time we fix this accord it wasnt geting spark and i took the cover and the coil looked ok but it was kinda burnd i dint see it at first i hat to look harder to see it
so after replacing it the car had spark and was able to fire .

no they finished the car and started the car and pulled it out of the bay and parked the car then when i went to start the car it wouldnt start. I checked all fuses and they are fine i replace the coil it was fine and the ignitor and after all of that there is still no spark

 

It's just a coincidence that the car would not start at Best Buy after their monkeys worked in your dash
Look for something simple-blown fuse-disconnected wire or ground. Good luck.

Main relay under the dash could be the culprit. Are you absolutely sure it is not just a crappy battery. How fast is the starter spinning?

 

yes im sure its not the battery. the battery is strong. and best buy would not take responsibility for the car not starting because it started when they back it out of the install bay

yes i did see when they backed it out. I feel so damn dumb now. i over look one fugking fuse. thanx for all the help guys it was a damn fuse.

what fuse was it?and why did it blow

 

it was the acg fuse or agc. which ever one not sure. I think it was the radio install that did it.
