Question........what does the second coil spring do?

 

the top spring is easy to compress.. so it acts as a buffer between it and the hard sprng.. Most modern springs are progressive, meaning that the spring gradually gets harder and harder as it compresses which is a good thing. This spring takes that Idea to the next level by giving you 2 progressive sprngs. It makes your car less jumpy ie : your car will not jump sideways as drastically when you hit a bump while cornering like most droped cars do. I think it's worth the extra 45$ ...

alignment with the perches. When the car is on the ground the helper spring
is fully compressed.

I won't just sell the plate and top spring alone... They won't fit a normal coilover anyways.. the main spring is shorter on the dual spring model...
