i have the opportunity to do something ...
I am going to be taking my B18C R apart to change some seals out that have been causing some smoke for quite some time. Since the head is going to the machine shop to get checked out, I wouldn't want to miss this chance to upgrade my valve train. The motor is stock except for I/H/E . I have been doing some research on the portflow products and I dont know if i should bother with getting the retainers and the inner springs.
Also would it be good to do a 3 angle job on my stock valves ? what do you guys recommend ??? TIA

While it is out definately go with new vavle seals and at least a 3 angle.
Also, if funds allow, it would be a perfect time to freshen up the short block.

i pulled the pistons out since i was already there and the rings are brand new. the sleeves look intact also, i eventually want to send the head out to be p/p but the funds are not all there for what i want., will the portflow valvetrain be an overkill on the stock setup. Or should i just give my stock ITR valves a 3 angle job, and maybe clean up the head a little until i can send the head out and get the right cams and valve train / TIA
