I think u are the only person saying they are good... Everybody told me that they are very bad,.

 

If you think they are good, then you are paying twice and amount through your nose for those parts.

BC = Bunch of Crooks

So many horror stories of them. I even experienced it when I walked it to his shop. He pointed to some Formula rims (Volk TE-37 knockoffs) and said he is going to sell them for me cheap 30% off the retail price of REAL Volk TE-37 's

 

I second that !!! Don't bother going to BC Auto, Bell Chan (the owner) is a Rip Off, and he provides very bad service. He's nice to you UNTIL you buy the parts from him. If you have a problem after that don't bet on him helping you solve the problem. He doesn't give a sh*t about his customers after he has taken your money! Don't say you weren't warned.

I have NEVER EVER had a good experience even walking into that place. I will never go back there.

 

I've also heard a variety of stories about Bell Chan. He is very shady. I won't deal with him.

 

They have some nice cars though! They are the Canadian distributor for 5Zigen, and they have a replica of the 5Zigen N1 Civic, and a fully-race prepped 993 911 GT3.

 

BC auto is the biggest ripoff in Toronto. DON'T DEAL WITH BELL. He is a crook. This is from past experience.

 

If you are shopping at BC Auto, you are shopping at "Rip-off-Ralf's". Bell Chan is looking at the one time deal (or should I say, one time scam!). He or his son will say anything to get you to throw down your BLING BLING then bad things start to happen.

Looking for a Spoon rear upper spoiler for your EG, no problem. Hand him the money then wait a few months! If you go and pester him, he'll say it's coming on the next plane from Japan. Wait a few more weeks, then he'll say it's coming by boat. Give up and ask for your money back, he'll tell you to F-oFF!

In the end you'll receive some cheap *** Taiwanese replica of a Spoon spoiler and you look on your receipt and you'll notice that they charged you full $'s for a "Spoon Style" spoiler. That's when he tells you to take both your $2 spoiler and your *** out of his store!

He had knock off wheels before they started getting popular. That guys is amazing. How does he stay in business.

If 5Zigen only knew what he was doing. He doesn't deserve sole distributorship of 5Zigen. He is too crooked.

 

Rip-OFF Ralph's is Right!! I mean if he overcharges for genuine parts that's ONE thing. I hear of stories where he sells a customer a Greddy Cat-back exhaust, and charges him the full price of a Greddy Cat-back, then the customer only finds out it's not a real Greddy. When he goes back to the owner (Bell Chan) to say WTF ! and why is the exhaust NOT a Greddy. Bell then tells him look at his bill and it says he sold a "CAT-BACK" exhaust with no mention of Greddy on the receipt, so the guy gets screwed with this Sh*tty no-name brand taiwanese exhaust. It gets worse from there; Bell will sell you parts he claims are genuine but are not. He will paint lowering springs and tell you they are KG/MM for example when they are not, and how will the customer ever know once they are on the car?!?. Quite frankly him and his shop make me sick. I bet he makes all his money off the customers who don't know about his antics until it's too late. I feel bad for those people. Warn your friends!!... STAY AWAY !!

 

I wonder how this guy stays in business then. You can only fool so many people till the well runs dry. This shop has been discussed numerous times here on this board and I've heard that your Nationality also plays a part in how you're treated.

 

Hmmm.. nationality? Well I never heard of that one but I don't doubt it at all !! Also, if you come in and Bell realizes that you are new to the scene and you don't really know your stuff yet, he will Prey on you like a Predator! On the flipside, walk into his shop and if he realizes that you actually know your stuff, he will be cocky and arrogant, and try to make you seem dumb. Watch out for his crooked son as well and the other guy who works there who me and my friends call "BLANKA" (One look at his head will tell you why we call him that). You ask those two clowns for a price and the most famous line from BC Auto is " The price is blah, blah, blah, BUT ONLY FOR TODAY!!" But yet that's the same "F-ING!!" Price they say all the time! Nice try buddy.

damn.... I would be embarrassed if I were Zigen to have that company represent my products....

My experience 8 months ago:

Called them up looking for the new SPOON header (they are an authorized spoon distributor).

Guy on the phone says sure, we got one of those in stock why not come by and have a look. He tells me over the phone that the price was something like $750 CND. I say WOW and head over there ASAP.

When I arrive I take a look at the header and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was a JDM 4-1 header, complete with heat shield brackets and everything. I asked the guy several times: are you sure this is the new SPOON header? YES only $750 today only.

I turned and laughed out loud as I walked out the door, leaving the guy just standing there looking as stupid as one can possibly look.

This must be the best topic yet for all the Toronto people out there. I've never seen such unanimously BAD perceptions of a performance shop before! LOL

He must be "really good friends" with someone at 5Zigen in order for him to keep his "official distributor" title while having such a bad reputation.

 

"$750 today only"?? Too bad that's the everyday price. The "only for today" is an all too familiar saying there. Their 5Zigen Hatchback is a piece of ....well um ... you know. I wonder myself how 5Zigen lets BC Auto stay as an "official" distibutor. Bell's knees must be real sore by now, unless he has BLANKA do all the dirty work for him.
