Default Question for anyone using an ACT Clutch

I'm planing on getting an ACT Heavy Duty clutch rated at 278 ft/lbs. And using it with a Fidanza 8 lbs flywheel. I'm making 210 WTQ on an H22 at 6 psi.

My mechanic recommends Exedy over ACT, but people have told me ACT would be better. For those of you that have ACT, which clutch do you have, what flywheel, and how much power? What are your experiences with it?

Im running the ACT organic street disc with their extreme pressure plate and a Fidanza 8lb flywheel. I had it installed about 6 months before I turboed and then have had it about 4 months since then. I beat the hell out of my car. I'm making 212whp and 227wtq and it holds well. The light flywheel slows down really fast which can be bad depending on your powerband. For longevitity I kind of which I had gotten a heavier duty setup, but for now its working great.

LS/VTEC = 411whp, 287torque. ACT Xtreme pressure plate, Street/Strip disc. Holds fine, no problem. Even on 24.5" MT slicks w/ 1.76 60ft.

From what I have heard its really hit or miss with Exedy. I've never had an Exedy so I can't really say but I have had ACT's and no complaints from me. I used to launch all day at redline on slicks and it took the beating so ACT gets a

ACT xtss - d16z6 turbo - 216whp/181wtq - Has been holding up great for 6 months, even launching at the track at 7,000 rpms with slicks. I am going to build my motor over the winter and I am planning on using the same clutch.
