why the b16a head? You know you just lowered your compression, right?

oh, I gotcha... Numbers aren't bad, but they're not too good either. Do you have a pic of the chart?

yeah b16 cams and low compression so those numbers arent that bad, especially considering theres a skunk2 intake and 65mm TB on there wich isnt really necessary at this point...

acatually looking at it again those numbers seem pretty damn good... a stock gsr motor is gonna pull about 145 and 115 so using smaller cams and less compression your still putting out 20 more hp than a stock gsr. time for some R cams and jdm R pistons

dont listen to all the noobs who said the numbers suck.

those are great numbers for a stock B16 head with stock B16 cams and that low compression....very good accually...im suprised that it made peak power at 7900rpm with those cams......

cool stuff

its not a gsr, it doesnt have gsr cams or gsr compression...

and you mean to tell me that you made 161hp with bolt ons? i doubt it... it would take at lease ctr cams to get near 165 in a b16

damn, so many bench racers...

listen... the # doesn't really matter. he could retest this car when it's 20 degrees lower and probably yank another 5-10 hp out of his ***... different dyno, different day, different numbers.

what's more important is how quickly he reached his powerband, his A/F ratio, and how HE likes the car.

arguments like 'he could have made XXX amount with THESE mods' mean nothing. he ran what he brought, and that's good enough.

scan it and host it on we-todd-did-racing.com

a former member on here put down 172hp and 125tq with a basically stock poor man's setup. all he had was a b16 head, gsr block, usdm itr pistons, itr rods, i/h/e, and a clutch specialties stg2 clutch. i know this because i was there and seen it with my own eyes. he now has an evo thats putting out 305hp and 297tq. that **** is sick
