Default JDM B18C, what cams

I am getting a JDM Type R engine next week and I was thinking about getting a set of cams. I was leaning towards the skunk2 stage 2 cams like my friend has on his crvtec, but reading through the forums I didnt notice them mentioned too much. I saw one post saying to just get the jun3 intake cam, but I saw a lot of people posting that they break alot on the camgear end...

So what? crower? Toda? Jun?

Also as far as valve springs, can I get any kind or is it better to go with the same brand as the cams?

What are you power goals on the engine? What else is done to it or will be done to it?

Exactly, different cams require entirely different conditions.

skunk2 stage2s would be good for you i think, ive got them in my gsr running stock 10:1 compression, i know they like higher compression, like 11.5-12.5 something like that, but they still made good #s for me at 10:1cr, youve already for a good IM and header, and ur stock compression is higher than mine, so i think they would work well for you too, the only thing is that you need the skunk2 springs and retainers as well to run these cams, ive been running them for a year with no problems.

I was going to get a full 2.5 exhaust and header, cams, possibly 12:1 pistons and a bigger throttle body if it would help. I was also looking at a hondata system.

I probably wont do anything else in the near future.. just got the motor, about to paint the car... so I need to stash up some more reserves..

I would like to hit atleast 200-220 hp to the wheels

I always feel that you should get the same valve train as the company of the cams
Some people dont agree with me with that but thats what I would do
