My rex is blowing smoke
Hey I need help on identifing the problem. The only thing I can give you, is that my car blows smoke when hitting the accelerator. It's not much smoke, but I'd like to get this fix before it becomes a problem and with emissions. One friend said it could be the O rings, if there are any other causes for smoke please let me know.
Blue smoke = Oil
White smoke = Coolant
Black smoke = Fuel
Pull your sparkplugs and look at them.. A glossy black fouled tip would indicate you're burning excessive oil. A black carbon fouled tip would indicate an overly rich condition. You can also do a compression test to see if you're burning oil. If its white smoke you're probably dealing with a headgasket going bad, check for water in oil, and overheating.

Without knowing the color of the smoke it is hard to tell. My guess would be the piston rings are shot or the valve guides are worn and leaking. Post what color the smoke is and then we can help you some more.
