Where can I find Honda cylinder compression numbers?
I searched "cylinder compression" and "compression" and havent found any threads or links to a list of Honda spec cylinder compressions.
Specifically, I have a 99 b18c1 and have 179,178,179,179 across the board when cold.
Anyone?

You are looking for consistant numbers, rather than high numbers. If you get the manual for your car, it will tell you the minimums and maximums for compression testing.
One other thing.. that was with no oil in the motor (very little) we started it up and then checked the oil and it was pretty low. Ive read a coupel other threads that gave me the idea that my compression might go up with more oil in the motor? Am I just misreading this or does it hold some truth?
<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by beepy »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">It's good. That's a "dynamic" compression ratio of 12.3:1.</TD></TR></TABLE>
how did you figure this out? was is because the motor was cold? I know my stock gsr motor made 225 across the board before build up, it was at 190 across the board cold with endyn FI pistons.
