Default type r upgrades

Ive got a 95 civic coupe that i just droped a b18c5 into. What kind of things do you recommended i can do to it to get more power? I already have intake/exhaust. I was also thinking of swaping out the intake cam for a civic type R intake cam. I also Do Not want to go with forced induction. Any ideas?????

I'm wondering how/why a CTR cam is better than an ITR cam.

Intake and exhaust ... does that include a decent header?

No not really.........very very small difference thats being debated in another post as we speak. This is a waste IMO....dont buy the CTR cam!

Trey who did a comparison discovered that its approximately a 3-4 whp increase. Unless you were to get it for free i wouldn't buy it!

not more lift...same lift but more duration...and for an all motor car, 3-4whp is alot...every HP counts.

i thought on the newer itr's (99-01), the cams where the same as the ctr's.

only on the earlier itr's, they were less aggressive

00+ ITR and CTR cams have same specs. Both those cams have 3 degrees more duration than a Pre 00 ITR.

spend the money on a really nice header, youll be supprised how much power you can make with just a header/exhaust
