would jb weld hold under oil pressure?

I wouldn't. A friend of mine used it to attach his oil line to his block and once it heated up the JB didn't seal good and started to leak.

Don't waste your time , if you cant get it welded try drilling and taping the pan and use a thread sealer or Teflon tape.

Oh yeah and there is really not a lot of pressure in an oil return.
