Default Found a great product for thirsty racers.

As I started using my Camelback in our rally car, I had to mount it on the seatback in order to have the tube at an accessible length. I've just found this little gem that will enable me to attatch the Camelback to the cage.

Thought you guy might want to check it out.

Couldn't you just buy the full length you need from a pet supply store and move the mouthpiece? I guess then you'd have to switch it back when it's not in your car. Nevermind.

It's impossible to unmount the tube, as it is part of the water bag itself.

Mine looks like its mounted on solid, and it's a Camelback. Maybe I'll mess with it some more!

Bizarre. Mine looks like it is 1 piece! Maybe I'll pull harder next time. Do they require much effort to get out?

Does it say Camelbak or Camelback on it? I've heard rumors of cheap imitations.

Or you could have just gotten a double-ended barb-nipple from an auto parts store and 6 feet of hose and be done with it for like $2.

I "distill" the water during the stage, and relieve myself before the next stage starts.

I usually bring my old camelback to the track. makes a nice convienent source of fluids. I havent put it in the car yet, but it would be pretty easy to hang it from the harness bar behind the seat so it would be easily removable

Took a look at it, and indeed it will turn and pull. Now I can get the extension on.
I thought I'd have to insert it in the existing hose...

Pretty much sweat out any water you drink during a race I'd think. I don't know the inside temps of the car but it feels very much like working in an industrial kitchen to me.

I accidentally left a pyrometer in my helmet inside my car a few years ago and it read 140° when I found it.
