ARe gsr and itr distributors the same ?? if not please tell how they differ

 

I believe the ITR's internal webbing is stronger.

EDIT: I was thinking of the rotor and cap. Sorry.

Webbing???? Are you talking about the housing or the internals?

 

I think all b series distributor are the same...

There are 2 different types of b series VTEC distributors. The Denso, and the Mitsubushi. They are pretty similar internally, have the same coil, etc, but one is slightly smaller than the other, thus the need for a different dizzy cap.

 

I thought they were TEC and HITATCHI distributors.

I could be getting mixed up with the brands.
Plus, I don't have my manual with me or else I'd double check.
