What springs will work with Spoon N1's
I just baught a set of Spoon n1's for my ITR but they have 18k fronts and 16k rears...I obviously want a softer spring rate for daily driving, more like 12k in the front and 10k in the rear...what other brands of springs are interchangable with the Spoon N1's
You have to keep in mind that those coilovers....the dampeners are adjusted and built specificly for those springs. You can put softer ones on there but it may ride like ****. I would suggest A) selling or trading or B) if your going to get softer springs, first measure the diameter of the coil then the length and fo from there.
If you change spring rates your going to need to change the vlaving on the dampeners .
Or You could just sell the way toooo stiff set up to me for a very good price!

Swift springs from Zeal work....
I had 18/16 on my Spoon N1s for a while too.
If I had to do it all over again. I'd roll 14/12 or 12/10 as you have suggested. I believe Eibach ERS springs fit as well.

I have 14F/12R spoon springs on my N1s, rides reals nice, firm without being to hard, i have the front shocks at #2 and the rears at #1 (1 being softest) I find this the best set up although i think i may screw the fronts up to #3 as they seem a bit soft at times, but anything higher on the rears and the rear end tends to skip on bends

I'd suggest putting them on the car and taking it for a ride first to see how you like them, and then make a decision on changing thr springs.

Ya sure about that, I thought that the dampeners would react either too slow or too fast if the springs are not calibrated

I am using Koni shocks that are good for 750-800 lb springs on my stock springs and it works just fine.
The dampers are suited to the springs, not vice versa.

Spoon N1 shocks are adjustable and even though they only have 5 settings, there is a huge difference between 1 (soft) and 5 (hard), so you adjust the hardness setting depending on how you like your ride, and considering spoon make up to a 24kg spring, their dampers are designed to work up to that rate.
