zc valve seals
i have a dohc black top zc and i need to know what valve seals i am supposed to get i think it is the 89 integ ones but im not 100% sure also i am changing my head gasket per blew it and im taking head to machine shop tomm. what is the max that i should have shop mill off so that i can raise compression for all motor set up but also be safe as well ?
You want '89 Integra Valve Seals and Head gasket. The Safest you can go is 1.4mm on the head.....Its not the best way to go in the long run because your piston options will be limited with the much shorter deck height.
The Head on my ZC is shaved 1.4mm and I haven't had any problems with it in 6K Miles. I don't know the exact compression ratio but the last compression test I did was 245psi.
I have a spare ZC head and felt like playing with my set up before I go to forged internals for my All Motor set up. I would suggest not shaving the head and just going with some Porting and Polishing.......You'll thank yourself later when you get some high compression/domed pistons.

thanks man i thought so just had double check , well my head is comming back from the shop today i was wondering did your car feel any faster since you milled your head thus raising you compression, plus i would love to port out head but cant afford down time on car
