Default Head Gaskets

I was told that by adding more than one head gasket you compression would go up specially if your doing a mini me swap, is that true? I would think that by having the head as low to the block you actually produce more compression or if no too much if you do it with a ZC motor?

Having more then one headgasket lowers compression and reliability. To increase compression you usually remove a layer or two off metal ones. Not sure but I though zc had composite gaskets where you cannot do that.
