Im putting a NX wet kit on my integra by the middle of the week and I am currently running 2 month old Bosch Platinum +2's(I know they are garbage) and NGK OEM wires...My question is what would be the best type of plug for my engine such as copper or iridium? 2 people have told me so far that platinums are not good at all and will be toast in a short period of time...How long could I stay with the Boschs before they take a dump?
recommended plugs for nitrous are coppers that are 2 degrees colder for between 50-75shot. nitrous ***** out plugs quick.... better to use cheaper plugs regardless if you plan to spray alot (going to the track that day.) i used NGK or champion coppers before. i dont remember the numbers though... you might have to get with the manufacterer to get a sheet that tells you which plugs are for your motor that are 2 degrees colder. you also want to run some retard if you're using a higher shot, 50 will be fine for stock base timing, but i'd say back'er off if you jump into the 75+range
