i hit 135 and my friend hit 160, and i don't know how in that prelude), but i know a guy with a turbo type r that has hit like 170 i believe but he had the power to pull it there and higher if it wasn't for a revlimiter, he was racing a nsx

135 and 160 seem respectable...but 170? I don't forsee that possible with stock gearing. Where was this at?

yeah, I agree 160, that's 8k on a gsr in 5th. 170 is 8500 rpm, so that's possible on a type r, if it has gsr gearing and a little higher redline ... maybe.

Nearly 140mph shutting down a 99.5 Audi 2.8L A4 Quattro.

our cars (DC2s) are nothing without aerodynamics.

Well have not tried it in my GSR yet but in my 4dr 90 LS (CAI ONLY) I had it upto 135 going to Salt Lake and kept it at 115 for an hour and a half. Made it in 3 1/2 hours from Boise (6 hour drive) I was also 17 then...

My GSR has seen 142. Not bad considering it is only being pulled along by a B16, but bad considering that it's a ridiculous speed for a public highway. I'll never do that **** again...
