i had one in my old teg. bought it as leftovers from dan ponze's old gsr way back when. it was aluminum with a replaceable steel friction disc (or whatever it's called). it was a bit heavier than a chromoly one but i won't have to toss it when it wears out.

downside... i had the grinding starter problem that many are plagued with

I have two. One in my civic and one in my garage waiting to go into my type r. They are awesome. I love the lightness, 8 pounds is oh so sweet!!

110% streetable. Anyone who tells you they aern't streetable has prolly never driven one for more than 10 minutes. Either that or they just don't know how to drive a stick~

Never had a single starter grind issue . . . .

Just put a third into a 98 H22A4/94 Accord Hybrid last weekend. That one doesn't grind either.

**Highly reccomended**

Had mine for about 3 months with no problems. I like it, a lot. It is the only light weight flywheel I have ever had so I can't really compare it to anything else on the market. BTW it weighed 7lbs. 5.6oz. according to the scale at my local post office. Definitely plenty streetable.
