H22a's
the best h22a for 1/4 and top speed. i would say the accord type R motor the h23a vtec and the prelude Type S motors. i beleive those produce 220-230 to the flywheel.
The normal h22a has about 190 to the flywheel and some has LSD and some doesn't. (note: LSD would help you on the 1/4) also for the normal h22a it has two versions. the 92-95 is a close deck block h22a which is OBD1 (note: close deck is stronger) the 96-00 is an open deck block h22a. the 96-98 is OBD2 and 99-01 is OBD3. (note: open deck is better for cooling system and so.)
well if you really have the money i would take the accord h23a motor but thats really hard to find. the rest is for you to decide which motor for you is the best.
Please give us a call at the office and i'll be able to get you a JDM h22a for a pretty decent price.
thanks
