Default colder, spark plugs...

is it good to use this type of setup??

i jus read on the timing belt cover and it said to use short tip type of spark plug. i have been using ones that they gave me for b18c's and i dont know if its short or long type.

which do they normally give?

NGK BKR6E-11 for stock, or BKR7E-11 for a colder plug.

If you're running high compression, yes.

No. Colder plugs retain less heat and will slightly reduce an engine's tendency to detonate.

I have the jdm itr engine. I know it has slightly higher compression than the US one, but can I use the US plugs? Suggestions?

Colder plugs don't retain heat, they are best suited for high compression engines because they prevent detonation. Run a BKR7E-11, $1.89 from NAPA, good plug.
