Aluminum wing vs. Type-R Wing
Just my opinion, but I would never put an aluminum wing on a Type-R.
same here... appreciate what you have already. It gets the job done.. (downforce) so just leave it.

I wonder why the realtime R's don't have the stock wing?
Realtime among most other touring car teams that race in the Speedvision WC run the HP Motorsports wing. The only aftermarket wing that is approved for this series. It is a Functional Race Wing.

I don't have any figures for you. Read this post ... this has some good info regarding downforce.

Realtime used to use the stock wing! Then all of the cars in the series changed to that same ugly aluminum thing a couple years ago...

All aluminum wings look like *** on any street car...period. When did this become popular and why? It does nothing for you (except lower you gas mileage) and looks terrible.
I wouldn't put any other wing other than a stock one on my R. If anything, I would remove it, but I probably wouldn't do that either
