thanks , the holes lighten the brackets up a bit and look nicey wiff the carbon...

I made some this weekend for my sparco sprint.
Used two lengths of steel running perpendicular to the stock rails, and then two lengths of boxed steel (so the seat would sit higher) running parallel.
It was pretty simple in concept, but took me all day to do all the welding and measuring.

metal supply house , 6061 L stock , pretty common stuff...

nope.
its L stock , meaning its bent already , I bought a 20ft lenth and cut if out on a metal bandsaw , drilled it on a Sears drill press , nothing special.
big uni-bit for the larger holes , chamfer them and DA it , after that polish it on the wheel and bolt it up.

i made some for a corbeau i used to have that bitch almost sat flat on the ground lol..... if you were shorter than about 6' you couldnt see over the cluster haha

its seat/car specific , not a one size fits all.
these were made for a very tall driver and wouldnt work for most average builds.
