Default Hood Clearence

I currently have a lsvtec in a 90 crx si with a place racing mount kit, i had a B16 in there befor and had no problems with the hood shutting. With the new set up I can not get the hood to shut fully. What can i do to about this. I have searched and Tbone said that he had to shimm his hood with the 1.8 bottom end, is there anything else i may be albe to do???? any help will be greatly app.

You could cut into the hood support skeleton where it hits the motor.
you could also get a different set of mounts.

I believe Hasport is still in the works of making a mount kit to allow hood clearance.

I am not trying to spend $400+ dollars to have the hood clear, that is just a little out of the question. So it looks as if cutting the hood or shimming is the only other options?

just take a 4 in grinder to the hood skeleton, i did that and it took like 10 mins including stopping to get a drink. its quick, simple, and u also reduce weight lol. it should give u good clearance

i THINK that the ZC hood fits....correct me if im wrong....but thats on the expensive end

dont cut anything dont buy and new hood... put washers under the mount and problem solved
