Well its been a while since my old 97 Type R was stolen but I might be buying another. The Acura dealership near me has another 97 with Mugen Headers, Exhaust, AEM intake and some other stuff. It has 39K on it, they are askin 19,900 for it. What do you guys think I should be able to get it for? Also does anyone know who might have owned the car?Thanks

 

That's very close to the price some 2000s have been going for. I would pay $17.5-$18k.

 

get it !! unless you want a newer on which i've seen in the classifieds for that price range and some are stock...so you can start from scratch again..

I kind of want to get a newer one but it will cost me more in insurance due to my horrible driving record. Also I trust the dealership who's selling the car since my family has already bought 3 cars from them. Oh yea, does anyone know of the company Flosser? Apparently it has low beams from them, jus tryin to find out if they are HID's, thanks again.

Nope, its a different VIN than my car, I would really hope Clair Acura wouldn't steal my car then sell it back to me.

 

I just had my parents go to look at the car today and apparently someone put a deposit on it this morning. I am hoping the buyer drops out, if he dosn't looks like I will be driving the Huffy around some more.

Buy a supra instead. Dont spend all that money on a 4cylinder. Hey what im I talking about? Ill sell mine in a year if you wanna wait.

I wanna get a RX7 or Supra TT as well but the RX7's are not that reliable and pretty difficult to find as are the Supra TT's. The Supra's are also really high on insurance and with my driving record it would end up costing me way too much.

Thats one of the reasons I wanted to buy a car from them. But aww well, someone already bought it . Its not like I really needed a car now tho it was jus gonna sit at home, cause I don't feel like gettin another car stolen out of the parkin lot here. As much money as I put into a security system will just be more money lost when those damn thieves jack my **** again. Just wait till I get a house next year wit my boy who sleeps wit his AR-15 . Plus a garage will be nice.

 

I'm the guy the bought it... a great car... and Clair is a great dealer (I've bought 4 cars from them in the past 6 years). They gave me a great deal and their usual great service. Sorry I beat you to it, but I'm sure you will understand... oh, hell... who am I kidding, I'm not THAT sorry.

I'm also the guy that owned 97ITR #324 before you did. I bought it new in 97. I was VERY upset to hear that it had been stolen, so my condolences. Where and when was it taken? How was the car before then? I missed that car dearly, and always regretted giving it up. Had you done anything to the car since I owned it? If you have the time, please email me...
