fuel pressure
a while back i posted a thread about a problem i was having with my car. my fuel pump kept on going out on me. I replaced it like three times. every time i replaced it it went out like in two months. i replaced the relay with a new one after the pump went out the last time and replaced the pump with a new one. I posted the thread but it didnt help. they told that the problem was that the relay just kept on heating up but that wasnt it cause the pump wouldnt prime in the mornings. after asking around only one person got me thinking. He told me that my fuel pressure might be high causing the pump to work harder. Do u guys think that this makes sense. my fuel pump is going out cause of the fuel pressure regulator? if so how do u check the feul pressure? any help would be cool cause im out of ideas. thnx

fuel pump can handle at least 200 hp meaning fuel pressure should be at least 50 psi and you would be fine... but i think if you fuel pressure up 60+ it can possibly ruin your pump...
i suggest that you pick up a fuel pressure gauge from B&M or equivalent.. check ebay... or in the classified section in this board...
the other route i would suggest is either getting a adjustable fuel pressure regulator... or replacing the stock fuel pressure regulator with a new one...
FYI: fuel pressure regulator is the component that controls your fuel pressure
