Default QUESTION SOHC ALL MOTOR BUILD!! HEEEEELPPPPP

Hi, im building a sohc mini me and I need some clearances and specs for max power and reliability. Here is the setup:
-Y7 block
-Y7 crank cut .010" (I was opossed to this but funds are lacking)
-New Topline bearings (only ones in bigger size)
-PM6 pistons
-PM6 rods with ARP rod bolts (gonna have them pressed tomorrow, didnt know about the resizing until todayf)
-Ported and shimmed Y7 Oil pump
-P&P Z6 head milled 0.020" Total compression should be 10.8 more or less
-ZEX 59300 camshaft
-crower cam gear
-New rings
-Z6 IM P&P
-60mm TB
-header, intake and exhaust 2.25 (should I go to 2.5? it will be crush bent)
-eg6ajk chip with 8500rpm redline (I have 3 to try them out) <== very cool guy

Ok, now for the info I need:
-What are good bearing clearaces for both main and rod? (0.015")
-What is the best ring gap for allmotor and good oil control?
-What should valve clearances be for breaking-in the ZEX cam and then for runing it for max power?
-What should my cam timing be at for it to be at 0 degrees? Milling means I have to advance it 2deg and the diference between block and head???

Uh that setup is a waste.

PM6 pistons will only give you like 10.4:1 compression, i'd use PG6-B pistons so you can be around 11.5:1.

Also, whats the point of having a cam and ECU that goes to 8500 if your motor can't handle it. Your rod bolts and valvetrain will both fail horribly before 8500...something to think about.

P29's in a d16z6 will ping unless you have > 93 octane...don't do it. Run A6 pistons with a milled head and them cam of your choice

That was before I knew about PG6-B pistons. They are a good cross between the PM6 and P29 pistons.

If it's a street motor run the clearances between .015-.017
