CRX HF, Front Hub Swap..............
I swapped the front hubs off of a 90 integra onto my 88 CRX hf. I just got my motor started and i drove it, But the brakes arent working properly. I have to pump them a few times for it to actually start to STOP, I bleeded the brakes and everything. Is there something I need to do to complete the conversion???? All i did was swap the hubs, I left the stock lines and cylinder and everything.
I also Have Slotted front rotors and Kevlar Brake Pads If that makes a diffference, PLEASE HELP!

I'm not following how a hub swap changed the performance of your brakes.

He had to unhook the lines from the stock calipers..and attach them to the ones on the integra spindle. Dude U jsut need to keep bleedin...still got air in the line.
Good luck

Well, if that's the reason, it's basically the same as replacing a caliper. I agree, bleed again.

I had the same problem. I had replaced the master cylinder and it didn't make a difference. Brake bleeding, etc no difference. My solution was to replace the proportioning valve with one from a 4dr 92-95 civic. The set-up is seems weird but it works way better than most with 4-wheel disc brakes.
