RSX-S intakes--Comptech Icebox vs. others
Since I don't feel like weeding through the hundreds of crap posts on clubrsx on the intake debate, does someone have a decent gist of how much HP you are giving up by using a Comptech Icebox vs the AEM/Injen Cold air intakes?
I don't feel like worring about how much water I am driving through by using the CAIs, but obviously HP is still somewhat of a concern. The Icebox looks promising if it is not too far form the CAI numbers.

If you are worried about hydrolock, get the Icebox. I had it for a while and then sold it and got the AEM. They both work great, but the AEM kills the Icebox in the midrange.
As far as top end, I'd have to say they're about the same. I mean with the Icebox and hondata 4(keep in mind I also have the comptech RH) I ran a 13.97@102 in cold weather. Well last Friday, I ran a 13.87@102 with the AEM/K-pro in much hotter, humid conditions.
But the quality and fitment on the Icebox is much better than the AEM.
Hope I didn't confuse you any worse

I don't have a RSX, but I put a Neuspeed P-Flo on my EP3 because I was worried about hydolock. It has an aluminum heat shield/box around it, fit perfect, has a great sound, and it gave it a decent amount of "snap". I don't know if it compares to a CAI, but the sound of the P-flo is untouchable.
