Default JRSC on a '98 GSR... 230WHP

My Buddy got his '98 GSR W/JRSC Dyno'd last week. He's putting out 229.6 hp to the wheels (I saw the dyno chart). No other engine mods to his car except for exhaust and header (and whatever came with the SC kit).

Has anyone out there had this kinda performance? I'm considering dropping a JRSC into my '01 GSR because of his success.

That's right at the edge of unbelievable. Your friend must have a very strong car to begin with. Are you sure he isn't using the stepper pulley? If not, I'm guessing that he dyno'd at JR's shop. Do you know what header and exhaust he has?

Selling your JRSC? What do you want for it?!

LilMikey, why are you selling your JRSC? Did you like it?!

Theres really no reason that I'm selling it. Thats just the way I am. I always want to try new things. Guess thats why I've had 11 jobs and 10 cars over the past 6 years.

I had thought about pulling it off for the winter, maybe doing a little rebuild in spring and then upping the boost... then i thought about going turbo... now I think I'm just going to remove it and try to save up some cash-money. Getting my own place would be nice... but who knows.

I haven't advertised it yet, because, I didn't know how much to sell it for. Usually, before I sell a part I check all the classifieds and see how much whatever I'm selling is worth.

Hmm... The blower has 13k miles on it, it has the plastic idler pulleys, it also came with the support bracket and new fuel pump enrichment relay. So, if you bought a JRSC from them right now, this is the same exact setup you would get. Some of their first batches didn't have a support bracket and I think used a (dont quote me here) 3psi fuel enrichment relay and now they use a 1psi.

I also have a Walbro GSS-342 (thats the 255lph high pressure pump), hows $1850 shipped to your door sound for the JRSC + fuel pump?

thanks,
