I have allways owned cars that were manual & i never had to replace the clutch in them.
How can you tell if the clutch needs replaced, bleed, master cyl. replaced or hydro pump on tranny replaced ???
What do i look for ?
The car just dont seem right, or should i say its not like my 4th gen.
it just dont feel good.

sounds like a clutch cable problem. you problay are the tye that don't want to have to push the pedal in a inch to shift gears. if that is the case adjust the cable to how you like it. your cable probaly has to much slack.

Look for leaking brake fluid at the clutch system. If not, then bleed your clutch. If that doesn't fix it, then you can think about replacing the clutch master cylinder.

One way to tell if your clutch is bad is go to an open long road and cruse about the speed of 60 MPH and in your fifth gear, accelerate. If your engine is reving higher without modest increase in speed, then your clutch is slipping. If you should have to replace your clutch, replace it with a clutch kit.

Now i thought this sounded a lil odd, but i did it anyway.
i tried this uphill & downhill & even on level ground & it takes off as soon as i hit the pedal.
any other options ???

You don't have any major oil leaks do you? Sometimes oil can seep(Literally seep) into the clutch area and corrode the pressure plate and everything else in between. Also when you engage the clutch, do you feel any weird vibration when releasing the clutch pedal? This is a sign of a worn clutch. It is also recommended to change the clutch every 100,000 miles even though they can last a whole lot longer(Almost 197,000 miles on mine).
it's a good idea to look for oil leaks but it does sould like you need to do some bleeding...note. there are many wrong ways to bleed a clutch and only a few good ways to do it right. there are post on this forum as to how to do it.
one way to chek if you clutch is slipping is to give your baby all the power she can take... you power out put peaks @ approx 5500 rpm. peel out in 1st gear at aroud 5000 then increase it to 5500 as you drive.... if is is bad that you will feel a drop in power aroud 5500 and you rpm will go way up after...
