I was wondering:

how many speakers are in the car?
of what type they are (dimensions, etc)?
and how they sound if i put in a fairly cheap cd deck?

i am selling my civic with a 300w amp, an 8" sub, and four 4" infinity speakers. Im trying to decide if I want to sell my car with the audio equipment, or keep it for the lude.

you should have 6.5" in the front doors and also in the rear window
1" tweeters in the dash. thats 6 speakers... there should also be a oblong 7" stock subwoofer thingy in the very center of the rear seats. that makes a total of seven speakers. stock speakers rock pretty good actually but nothing like aftermarket. there you have it.

oh by the way... the best thing to do is put a 8" to 12" sub in the trunk and remove that stock subwoofer thing (easy to do) this creates a rather large hole from the truck to the cabin for the bass to flow through... of course you dont see the hole cause it still has the stock speaker grill over it. (just remove the speaker)... thats what i did and it works really well

The rear sub is a 6x9
