I would get a GSR. I always wanted one, but I couldn't afford it. GSR all around is the best in my opinon. You can always sell the parts back out if you have no use for it. Purple GSR? Do you mean Super Sonic Blue Pearl? Or they painted it purple?

I do alot of long driving east coast to west

 

just get a gsr they are spunkie but not funkie to drive. You'll save some cash if you shop around for about 2 weeks to a month before purchasing.

Avoid any modified cars. Avoid high milage cars too! If you are planning on putting on a lot of miles, way buy one with a lot of miles? I think you'll be better off in a LS, since its better for freeway cruising and gas milage.

they get bout the same street milage and ls as about 1 mpg more on the highway... if u wanna get technical

 

The purple color you are refering to is called dark violet pearl. It only came on 2000 GSR's, 800 GSR's were made in that in color, and is the rarest color for a GSR.
