i bought a low temp thermostat and am a few minutes away from installing...but i know with the mugen setup, you need to replace the fan switch if u buy their thermo.....do i have to replace the switch as well?

also the stock thermostat kicks in at 190 degrees correct?

I have installed the Thermostat w/o the Fan switch on my ITR Engine.

No problems, temp. stays low.

Also you do not have to get a Fan Switch. it'll work w/o it.

 

Why not stick to an OEM unit?

 

im plannin on makina 14 hour trip soon and my engine last few days has ran hot, so its a band-aid fix to mmy problem just to get me down there.
