i have a comptech 2 inch header and a 2.36 inch rsr exhaust and am looking for a high flow cat. Ive heard that a 2.25 will bolt up to the 2.36 exhaust. i can get a cat that is 2 at one end and 2.25 at the other for 160 but i was wondering if i could get a cat that is 2.25 at both ends and have it bolt on. im not sure if the bolts placement on the flanges are different or not. if i could just get the 2.25 i could get one for 70 and it would save me $. if you know if i can bolt a 2 inch header to a 2.25 cat let me know.

 

i have a 2.25 high flow cat that i had on my 94 ls for about 50 miles. i didnt like the way it sounded cause i had a no name brand ebay muffler. it sounds nice with good, brand name catbacks. i will sell it for 40 if u want it. its still basically brand new.

 

What brand is the cat that you have. Also let me know what size the collecter on your header is because im still not sure if a 2.25 will hook up to my 2 inch comptech header.

 

i dont know the brand. i bought it off ebay. i have on aftermarket headers and it fit perfectly. so i think my headers also have a 2.25in collector.
